?na Bh?n Tourism is now seeking applications for the role of CSP
(Community Services Programme) Manager. This is a full-time position
on fixed term contract issued subject to the Company continuing to be
in receipt of such funding as is required to maintain their
obligations under the contract. The position will be based in the ?na
Bh?n Tourism Centre, grounds of King House, Boyle.

To be considered for the position candidates will need to have an
in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Community Services
Programme, rural tourism development and marketing, community
development, funding structures and mechanisms for support. Extensive
practical experience of project management or similar role will be
required. A graduate level qualification is desirable but not
essential.

The Manager will be responsible for the management and supervision of
four members of staff and will be required to have excellent
interpersonal and organisational skills, be proficient in IT and will
have administrative abilities with experience in report writing,
budgeting and finances. A good working knowledge of community based
rural tourism would be a distinct advantage.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The role of the Manager is to deliver the Community Services Programme
(CSP) to support the development and marketing of community based
rural tourism initiatives and other community events and activities in
County Roscommon, as well as the delivery of skills training
initiatives targeting disadvantaged people.

* Responsibility for the successful day-to-day management, income
generation, accounting, administration and responsibility for staff
* Implementation of the CSP in accordance with Department and Pobal
guidelines
* Compliance with all statutory obligations i.e. employment, health
and safety etc
* Management of the CSP in accordance with Pobal guidelines and
Management Committee instructions and good corporate governance
* Maintain and evaluate records of all services provided in order to
assess sustainability and viability of those services reporting same
to the Board
* Support inward investment in tourism product, creative industries
and artisan producers in the region; encourage diverse opportunities
for tourism and small scale craft and food producers in the region;
and encourage collaboration and interdisciplinary activities across
the tourism and creative sector

SALARY: The salary in respect of this position will be ?**Apply on

Employee PRSI) and PAYE contributions.

TRAVEL: Candidates shall be required to possess a full current
category B Driving License without any endorsements and have access to
own vehicle.

WORKING HOURS: The core working week will be **Apply on the website**

PROBATION AND PERFORMANCE: The person appointed will on appointment,
serve in a probationary capacity for a period of six months duration,
commencing on the first day of service.
